Affirm® Prone Biopsy System Educational Modules

In this four-part video course, expert faculty will discuss different types of findings and tips and trips with the Affirm® Prone Biopsy System. Faculty will discuss microcalcifications, architectural distortions, tomosynthesis only findings, and challenging cases.

Module 1: Microcalcifications – Dr. Terri Gizienski reviews sample patient cases involving biopsy of microcalcifications.

Module 2: Architectural Distortions – This module reviews cases in which the Affirm® Prone Biopsy System and its tomosynthesis guided technology are used to improve the procedure of identifying and biopsying areas of architectural distortions.

Module 3: Tomo Only Findings – This module discusses the benefit of the 3D™ biopsy guidance system and describes the approach for biopsy of a lesion found only by tomosynthesis.

Module 4: Challenging Cases – This module discusses challenging cases in which the Affirm® Prone Biopsy System helped improve the efficiency of the biopsy procedure.
