ACNM Foundation Intrapartum Sterile Speculum Training

The ACNM Foundation, Inc. is delighted to offer a speculum examination training program for registered nurses through an educational grant from Hologic, Inc.* The program involves online education and a clinical didactic training regarding speculum examination.

The clinical didactic training involves online education and demonstration of a speculum examination and specimen collection using a simulated pelvic model. The didactic training may be provided remotely or in-person. In addition, a program manual and other resources are available for facility clinical leaders to download. The program is entirely free of charge to individual clinicians and hospital departments.
