Jamie Shutter, MD is Senior VP of Lab Development at Unified Women’s Healthcare, a network of women’s health specific laboratories with varying services spanning histology, cytology, molecular microbiology and NIPT. He is currently the Laboratory Medical Director of the Florida Woman Care, UWH of The Carolinas, UWH of Texas and the Capital Women’s Care Laboratories.
Dr. Shutter completed a fellowship in Gynecologic and Breast pathology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville following a residency in Pathology at the Columbia University Medical Center in New York City and an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
Dr. Shutter has been published in numerous medical journals in GYN and breast pathology, is an author of multiple textbook chapters, and has been an invited speaker at national conferences.
