VK Gadi, MD, PhD is the Deputy Director of the U of Illinois Cancer Center and the Director of Medical Oncology at the U of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Gadi has practiced oncology for 23 years most of that time spent as a breast cancer clinician having cared for 1000’s of women. In addition to his leadership and clinical activities, he is a laboratory-based scientist
whose research team has made discoveries in cancer biomarkers and therapeutics, some of which that have advanced to clinical investigation or are approved for patient use. He is a seasoned clinical investigator who has been involved in both early phase studies and advanced registrational clinical trials.
