Reconstructive Lumpectomy™ Breast Cancer Surgery Hands-On Course and Cadaver Lab

Educational Objectives:
After completing this course, the surgeon will be able to
• Perform aesthetically state of the art surgeries with optimal
outcomes
• Understand how technology can reduce re-excisions, returns to
OR, and deliver state of the art treatment in an ever-changing
health care climate
• Treat tumors in all quadrants without a plastic surgeon
• Have a strong fundamental understanding of breast anatomy and
aesthetics to proceed with other training in Level II procedures
• Identify and spot red flags that would lead to poor outcomes
Cadaveric lab will include instruction on the safe and efficacious use of
Hologic breast surgery product portfolio

Requirement for Participation:
Dedicated breast surgeons or general surgeons who are performing over
75% breast surgery cases in their practice
