The importance of making an accurate tissue diagnosis of these early cancers is essential for successful patient outcomes. Minimally invasive diagnostic biopsy procedures, such as fine-needle aspirations, core needle biopsies, and vacuum-assisted biopsies have replaced previous surgical/excisional methods. In this webinar, there will be a focus on stereotactic vacuum-assisted biopsies with real-time specimen imaging with collection and separation. Case examples will be reviewed to highlight these technologies working together to demonstrate improved workflow efficiencies. Each case in this set includes: Intelligent 2D™ synthesized images, Hologic Clarity HD® 1mm high resolution tomosynthesis slices, and 3DQuorum® 6mm SmartSlices. The exams were acquired with both 1mm and 6mm data: therefore you will be able to compare side-by-side the different tomosynthesis slices for the exact image. Along with the full resolution DICOM images, you will have access to interpretive tools and pathology information.
