The ThinPrep Pap Test and the ThinPrep Imaging System combine to create more accurate and comprehensive cervical cancer screening — giving added confidence in the results. In addition, ThinPrep is the only liquid-based Pap test FDA approved/cleared for HPV, Chlamydia/Gonorrhea and Trichomonas testing straight from the vial.
The Cervista HPV test is the first FDA-approved high-risk HPV test designed to detect all 14 oncogenic strains of HPV, with 100% detection rate of CIN3+ and a 99.1% negative predictive value for CIN2+.

The latest addition to Hologic Gen-Probe’s menu of women’s health test options, The APTIMA HPV assay is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for the qualitative detection of E6/E7 viral messenger RNA (mRNA) from 14 high-risk types of HPV in cervical specimens and accurately detects the HPV types likely to progress to cancer.
